This sujihiki(slicer) is ideal for proteins like brisket, fish, or turkey. It’s long and thin for easy cuts. I’ve named this pattern of damascus “Candy Cane” because when I was a child my mother would have us all make candy canes from scratch and this forge welded and twisted pattern is made in a similar way!

The blade is forged from 80CrV2 and 15N20carbon steels and hot coated with carnauba wax for added protection. The handle is stabilized and dyed quilted cottonwood with copper and trustone spacers.

Comes with a raw poplar saya.
